Acbuy QC Guide

How to read quality check photos like an expert — GL vs RL decisions, key inspection points for every product category, and how to request extra photos.

GL vs RL — Making the Right Decision

GL — Green Light

Approve for shipping

  • All critical areas look accurate
  • Minor flaws within retail tolerance
  • Logo placement and texture confirmed
  • Measurements match size chart
  • No visible defects or damage

RL — Red Light

Request return or exchange

  • Obvious manufacturing defect (stain, tear)
  • Wrong size, color, or style sent
  • Significant logo placement error
  • Material clearly doesn't match description
  • Visible damage from domestic shipping

Don't RL for these normal variations: Minor loose threads, slight color difference from screen calibration, factory glue residue (cleanable), small print variance within retail tolerance.

QC FAQ

How do I request additional QC photos from Acbuy?

In your order dashboard, select the item and click 'Request Extra Photos'. You can specify exact angles (close-up of logo, inside tag, sole detail). Extra photos cost ¥5 per item.

What does GL and RL mean in Acbuy QC?

GL (Green Light) means you approve the item for shipping. RL (Red Light) means you reject it and want a return or exchange. You must respond within 7 days of QC photo notification.

How long do I have to review QC photos?

7 days from the time QC photos are sent. After 7 days with no response, items are auto-approved (GL) and can be included in the next shipment.

What happens after I RL an item?

Acbuy contacts the seller to arrange a return or exchange. This process takes 3–10 business days. Refunds return to your Acbuy balance, not your original payment method.
